Andrew Roberts - Gray

Andrew Roberts-Gray makes multi-media works that reference discrete cultural traditions including science fiction, the history of the painted landscape and the development of the thinking machine. He layers these elements into paintings that are at once recognizable and striking. His work has been shown across the US and internationally.

Born in northern California he traversed across much of the contiguous 48 states including long stretches in San Francisco, New York City and the Rocky Mountains. He is now based in Carbondale, Colorado; where he makes work, enjoys mentoring artists and plays basketball.
