For NANCY MARTIN color has always been the catalyst which carries her from initial concept to a completeed work of art. Her subject matter, always personal, is analyzed and composed in her mind, then carried out in whatever medium, size and color choices she feels is appropriate for that particular piece. Her most recent work is the result of an on-going and continual study and exploration of these elements. Her style and technial finesse are indicative of her steady growth as an artist. Each new piece reflects aspects and elements of her life.

Nancy is a signature member of the Western Colorado Watercolor society (WCWS), the Colorado Watercolor Society(CWS) and was a former member of the San Diego tercolor Society. Her work hangs in private collections throughout the U. S. and abroad.

Nancy Martin has served as a judge for numerous juried exhibitions in western Colorado and teaches occasional workshops in her watermedia technique.
