LaDonna Urban has studied at the Art Students League of Denver for the past ten years under Kim Mackey and most recently, under Quang Ho, to develop and expand her experience as a plein air and studio painter.

"I enjoy depicting everything from European street scenes to the open sky of the Southwest," say Urban. "I hope to engage viewers through the use of color, texture and light invoking scenes of everyday life including the people, the markets and the landscapes of the region.

LaDonna lives in Westminster, Colorado, with husband Jim, but frequently visits the Urban family home in Glenwood Springs. She has been involved in the Summer Art Market at the Art Students League and has been selected to show at many regional and national exhibitions including The American Women Artist Show, National Greeley Art Exhibit, Heritage Fine Art Guild and the Glenwood Springs Fall Arts Festival.
