MAIN STREET GALLERY is celebrating 26 years of providing fine arts and framing in the areas of Aspen, Carbondale and Glenwood Springs and throughout western Colorado. We show oil paintings, watercolors, ceramics and fine prints by the exceptional group of artists listed in the "ARTIST INDEX" to the left. We periodically feature one or more of these artists in single exhibitions of in group shows. Since 1982 we have framed over 25 thousand works and take pride in our position as western Colorado’s premiere framing facility. Our staff of seven offers consumate framing skills and friendly advice in designing and completion of all your framing needs.
The Carbondale Gallery features oil paintings by Bob Gillespie, Stephen Datz, Dean Bowlby, Ron Hoeksema, and Dan Loge and exciting acrylics by Mary Noone. Russell Chatham’s lithographs are a recent addition to our print selection which includes serigraphs by Robert daughters and William Hook and etchings by Beki Killoran, Anne Belov, Nancy Charles and woodcuts by John Balkwill. You’ll love sifting through our print bins for visual treats and checking out our great collection of antique prints. Fine Art Posters of every imaginable subject are an inexpensive way to own some of the worlds' greatest works of art or to acquire contemporary works by emerging artists. On the First Friday of each month art galleries and businesses stay open late and a festive atmosphere prevails throughout the Town of Carbondale. We invite you to join us in discovering the Carbondale "small town atmosphere" that we all love.
Main Street Gallery: Glenwood Springs is right on Grand Avenue in the center of Glenwood Springs. Manager Nancy Page and her staff keep the gallery exciting with new works by all of our artists. See the "ARTIST INDEX" to the left. Click on any artist to see their work, or just browse to see a great collection. Nancy is one of the founders of the Glenwood's Downtown Market a Tuesday evening "event" June through September with live music and an extensive farmer's market with locally grown produce (think green), and delightfully tasty home-made treats. Main Street Gallery is just a short walk away with extended hours during the Market.
